BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
Michael Stanborough, BA, MA, Certified Advanced Rolfer® is the director of Stanborough Educational Group. He was a full instructor for the Rolf Institute, USA and the Australian Rolfing Association. He has delivered trainings to thousands of therapists in a variety of professions - physiotherapy, massage therapy, chiropractic, Structural Integration - in many countries. His book, Direct Release Myofascial Technique, has won acclaim from reviewers on four continents.

Hello. I'm Michael Stanborough. At SI Australia I offer the method for realigning the body in the gravitational field as it was taught by Dr Ida Rolf. I was trained in Structural Integration at the Rolf Institute in Boulder in 1983 and I've also completed the Rolfing-Movement and Advanced Trainings. Before starting SI Australia I was a full instructor for the Rolf Institute and taught classes in Boulder, Sydney and Melbourne. Participants in these trainings can be certain that the material covered prepares them for a stimulating career working to produce profound changes in human structure and movement. This course is certified by the International Association of Structural Integrators.

Growing With the Community

Structural Integration is growing. The International Association of Structural Integrators (IASI) was established in 2002 as the professional membership organization for Structural Integration (SI). IASI has since grown to become SI's most well-respected organization attracting a world-wide membership of leaders in the field. Graduates of SI Australia's program are eligible for membership in the IASI and enjoy the benefits of that membership.
